With this knowledge, she plans on developing functional, sustainable, and aesthetic textiles.

Weaving exploration on a 16-Harness floor loom
Woven Jacquard digital rendering (black and white) and final product (emerald and white) inspired by a quote from Poet Ocean Vuong, “Some one said history moves in a spiral, not the line we have come to expect. We travel through time in a circular trajectory, our distance increasing from an epicenter only to return again, one circle removed."

Inspired by her birthplace Hattiesburg, Mississippi Sarah wove on a 4-harness table loom and used supplementary weft yarns to carve out the landscape of the place she knows best.
